A mic mix with minimal post production, showing what can be achieved with just careful and determined placement of mics around the guitar amp and the recording room itself.
2. Medium Sized Bear
Illustrating warmth in the rhythm that can be achieved when recording synth sounds thru mics. Drums were rerecorded thru Neve pre-amps.
3. Ariel’s Addiction
Recorded in a large hall with a natural reverb captured thru mics, blended sounds are found in reverberations.
Mics were placed in locations where the instruments sounded the best. It was a big hall and required some very long leads!

A bold experiment in rerecorded synth sounds, subtly re-amping mulitple discrete tracks to produce a warmer sound.
